TAGHAZOUT-BAY

I will present briefly the major project of the tourist resort "Taghazout Bay" with its village of surfing and its academy, which is near our surf camp. To better visualize the project, a video of 24 minutes at the end of the article to show you what is expected for 2020.
Site "Taghazout Bay" is located 15 kilometers north of Agadir, in the rural communes of Taghazout and Aourir - Prefecture of Agadir-Ida Outanan, which extends over a 615 hectare area in edge of a coastal strip of 4.5 km of beaches of exceptional beauty. The project started from the Azur plan, which is part of the tourist vision 2020 and placing sustainable development at the heart of its priorities.
The design of the resort takes into account the preservation of natural resources and the respect and appreciation of the socio-cultural authenticity of the area. It is destined to become the first seaside resort in Morocco, located 160 kilometers from the city of Essaouira, and 230 kilometers from Marrakech, first cultural and tourist center of the country. With access to less than 4 hours from the main European capitals, 40 minutes from the international airport of Agadir and a connection to the motorway network via the A7 linking Casablanca-Marrakech-Agadir.
The Society for the Development and Promotion of Taghazout Resort (SAPST) was responsible for developing the site and develop part of the resort of the program. And is responsible for the consistency and harmony of development and its announced ambitions.
Four reference partners are involved in this exceptional project CDG Développement, the Moroccan Tourism Engineering Company (SMIT), Development Alliance Real Estate Group and the consortium Southern Partners.
For this, its implementation and its development will require an investment of about 6 billion MAD for direct and indirect creation of about 20,000 jobs.
The Moroccan government has also put all means, in addition to the basic infrastructure off site (water and electricity) already in service, and assured the completion of a bypass in the amount of about 185 million MAD for this major project in the region.
Station "Taghazout Bay" was designed around four key areas:
Destination Sports: Village surfing with his academy, golf academy, tennis academy, mountain biking, trekking, paragliding, water sports ...
Destination Culture & Sightseeing: authentic Morocco, an innovative architecture, high plant diversity,
Destination Nature: exceptional site, wadi courses, hiking, blue & green environment,
A Sustainable destination: enhancement of local culture, integration of neighboring populations in the project, environmental performance rooted in the DNA of the project.
Enjoying a privileged climate and outstanding natural wealth, "Taghazout Bay" revolves around a seaside concept "new generation", offering a plurality of activities throughout the year.
