EL JADIDA

El Jadida, Doukkala land, a region at the crossroads of the major economic centers of the Kingdom, is a territory which by its many strengths is fast becoming an investment destination of choice.

It is now positioned as a strategic economic center in the United. Increased investment (27% in 2011) demonstrates the importance of the growing interest that this territory for reference economic actors both nationally and internationally. The strong appeal of this territory induced a true economic dynamic, driven by the strong competitiveness of the territory which has a good level of accessibility and infra and superstructure with international standards and territorializes all national strategies .
Thus El Jadida has developed multiple economic vocations which form part of a circular economy that allows the agriculture, tourism and industry to work in synergy and complementarity and therefore be in human development.

In order to ensure economic equity between urban and rural areas, territorial development strategy has set a strategic goal of improving the quality of life and service offering, at the 5 urban centers. To this end, a pilot project with innovative projects is underway in the city of Sidi Smail.

The three economic levers of the province, is added a fourth, art and culture, which is a catalyst for creativity and economic dynamism to ensure a rich intercultural dialogue and social cohesion.



The new tourist and cultural spots


In the coming years, the luxurious Mazagan Beach Resort resort will be the heart of a new urban center in which the project will soon be unveiled. But already a construction site is the Resort face being finished. In April 2014, Morocco serainauguré the exhibition as a park which will be juxtaposed Congress Palace. A new tourism segment will grow on the Mazagan Beach Resort site which is of course known to grow.
At the same time, the old town of El Jadida is getting a makeover. While the majestic Portuguese city from the ashes, all the art deco district of the city is being renovated (see our report on page ZZ). Azemmour north, the city museum in the open air, the coast and its beautiful and endless beach becomes a resort for families Casablanca. And no bronze idiot in the region.
Besides the activities proposed by the Resort, the cultural agenda of El Jadida is becoming increasingly supplied with two highlights: the horse show and the International Music Festival Jawhara. But it does not go a month without events: Malhoun music festival of falconry, extreme sports and poetry, scientific meetings on water or more Moussem of Morocco ... There's something for everyone!
